The concept for “Tokyo Nights” was envisioned by ADE, inspired by the client’s deep connection to Tokyo, where they spent much of their childhood. Held in a vast, open wildflower field, the event required transforming the empty space into a vibrant, immersive party atmosphere, building everything from the ground up.

SOLUTION

Every element of the event was thoughtfully tailored to the client’s personal tastes. The colour palette—featuring the client’s favourite shades of red, pink, and gold—set the tone for the entire celebration. Every detail, from the florals and music selection to the food, cocktails, wine, and overall style, was meticulously chosen to reflect the clients personality.

Starting with a completely blank canvas, much of the design was custom-built. The stage backdrop featured elegant rice paper screens adorned with delicate cherry blossoms leaning into Tokyo’s iconic aesthetics. The karaoke room was brought to life with custom-painted graffiti walls, adding an urban, street-art vibe, while the sake bar was decorated with hand-painted Japanese parasols. 

For the menu, guests were treated to a selection of sushi and Japanese street food, served in the casual style of an Izakaya. In keeping with the theme, the sake bar offered a range of sake-inspired cocktails, further enhancing the immersive Tokyo experience.
